The amazing

"White House Replica"

Few people can say they've dined at THE WHITE HOUSE...

. . . you could be one of them.

Tour and dine at the White House during this limited engagement in the new Food Court at Military Circle Mall.

Don't miss this exclusive miniature exhibit that duplicates our First Family's home in astonishing detail.

"A magnificent reproduction," Gerald Ford.

"It is a delight to see such fine and creative work," Betty Ford.

"A beautiful and valuable gift to the American people," Jimmy Carter.

"Great! !" Ronald Reagan.

"Unbelievable and wonderful," Nancy Reagan.

"A wonderful contribution to our history," George Bush.

Admission to The White House is free. The experience is priceless.

John Zweifel spent nearly 34 years creating his marvelous scale model of the White House - a model that's totally authentic, right down to the working 1/4 inch TV sets!

This "labor of love", completed and presented to President Gerald Ford in 1975, has toured the entire country and many foreign nations, giving millions of people a better understanding of one of America's great landmarks.

Now, for 15 days only, the White House Replica will reside at Military Circle Mall. Visitors will get a closer look than ever before at the President's mansion.

Built on a scale of 1 inch equalling 1 foot, the White House Replica is definitely not a "doll house". In fact, it stands 60 feet long by 20 feet wide and must be transported, in sections, in a tractor trailer!

As you can imagine, a work of this size -with its devotion to detail - took a 1 of of time to create. More than 500,000 man hours went into building the White House Replica, whose creation spanned more than three decades.

But perhaps the most stunning aspect of the White House Replica is the amazing scale model reproductions of White House furnishings, including:

• Working televisions the size of quarters

• Ticking clocks

• Ringing telephones

• Handpainted portraits and wallpaper

• Flames flicker in the fireplace

• Chandeliers and lamps that light up

• Rising smoke from the East Wing chimney • Petit-point carpets

• Handblown goblets • Tables, chairs and beds handcarved in rosewood, mahogany and walnut

• Silk draperies

• Working miniature water fountains

No wonder the White House Replica has thrilled more than 43,000,000 viewers around the globe in the past 20 years.

As seen on the "Today" show and in Life magazine

Made with the same materials and paints as the original, the White House Replica cost over $1 million to research, design and build. It's an achievement that has resulted in doz-ens of articles in major newspapers and magazines in the U.S. and abroad, plus appear-ances on a variety of television programs.

Don't miss this exhibit. It's the closest most Americans will ever come to actually living in the White House!

View artifacts which represent some of the country's most beloved First Ladies. On display will be an array of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis authentic porcelain china, (acquired this year at the Kennedy auction), some featuring the Presidential Seal. An additional display includes hand-created reproductions of inaugural gowns worn by First Ladies including Florence Harding, Eleanor Roosevelt, Bess Truman, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Nancy Reagan, and more. These colorful gowns, developed through research with the National Museum in Washington, help illustrate the mood of the country at the time of their wearing and how the First Ladies influenced the entire fashion world.
